Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. Alhamdulillahi rabbil alamin, Allahumma salli wa sallim wa barik wa karrim ala sayyidina Muhammad, al-fatih lima ughliq, wal khatim lima sabaq, wannasiril haqq bil haqq ila siratikal mustaqim. Sollallahu alaihi wa ala alihi wa sahbihi haqqa qadrihi wa miqdarihil adzim.
As the clock struck midnight, many things struck my mind. Questions surface. So now, I am 18. And so i question myself, what have I done with my 17th year of life. 20 Dec 2012-19 Dec 2013 was indeed a trying period. Obvious reasons and also not obvious ones too.
1. A Levels the king of all stresses.
2. Semarak Temasek 2013, planning a huge event which I hope was a success.
3.Re-papers in early 2013 to redeem myself.
4. Friendships and rejections, something I have faced all my life but somehow more pronounced during this period.
Alhamdulillah ala kulli hal. As it may seem, 2013 looked like a gloomy year. Many upsets. Many disappointments. But despite all that, Praises be unto Allah for guiding me through those problems, for sending me the many numerous people to care for me and show concern towards me. May all of them be given rewards for their wonderful help. My 17th year is when many things happened. Many of which I did not expect to happen, be it in a good or bad way. To be absolutely frank, I really don't know whether my 17th has been good or bad. But like always, look on the bright side so I'd say yes, it has been a good year for me. Why you might ask? This period has indeed taught me many things. Chief among those is that, we do not get everything we ask for. Many things are out of our control. And I must learn to accept that fully and accept that. My 17th year is also when I met many awesome people and got close to those who really mattered. Shoutout to my sons to whom I feel guilty for neglecting the past 2 years; Hafiz, Hariz, Nicholas Khor, Ezra and Khairul. They have never made me feel out of place and accepted me as one of theirs despite being apart for so long. Also to my friend I never ever expected to make via Semarak Temasek 2013, Nurul Syahirah. I really am amazed by our friendship thus far and I really pray for more years to come insyaAllah. To my awesome brother/syaikh/jash whom I always forget to mention, Omar Rami Nazzal with whom I shared 3 years of friendship with for always allowing me to rant to. To my awesome CG-mates gang, thanks for always making noise with me in class and for pushing me in my academics! (Amrit, Nich Thong, Winson, Ben, Daniel and Richard) And a surprise shoutout to Fayyadhah, my dear Arabic classmate for being a true friend despite rarely seeing you and talking to you. Thanks for allowing me to share my problems with you. Of course to the always there for me crew, the awesome MCS people of TJC with special mentions of Humaira and the Jumaat guys gang for all the laughter! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH TRULY! I am very positive my 17th would not have been the same without you guys.
Looking forward, now I am legally 18. What do I need to look forward to? Well in the immediate future, my KL and Kampong trip and then the all awaited MCS dinner! Of course then 2 months of working at my primary school before getting my A Level results! This is then followed by NS and what not.... While I think my 17th year was already unique, I have this strong feeling my 18th will be even more awesome! I'm praying to Allah for an awesome 18th year. And to all my readers a Happy New Year of 2014! :)

Back after a long time..
Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. Alhamdulillah. Wassolatu wassalamu ala Rasulillah, Muhammad Ibn Abdillah sollallahu alaihi wa ala alihi wa sahbihi wa sallam. Amma ba'duh.
A long time since I last blogged. But I think it's due time for me to do so.
Reality is sad and bleak yet at the same time it is full of opportunities and happiness. I know I don't make sense, but with everything in my head right now, I don't expect myself to make sense. As starts in less than one week. Stressing out like mad. A lot of things to do yet I'm not at my best physically and emotionally. Stupid 2 dreams I had last night. It was like all the bad things that can appear in a dream did. Dreams were so bad I don't think I should share it on the public platform like this. But yea, plus all the stresses, I don't know what to do.
They say talking to someone would help. But no one wants to. How is it that I have to ask to the extent where it seems forceful and still, people don't wanna talk to me. Husnuzzon. Yes others might be busy too with their preparation for As and other things on their mind. But I'm not in the best state to husnuzzon with anyone. If any of you know me well enough, I won't complain about something unless it really is bothering me. And I am a person that lives around people. Sometimes a small 5 minutes talk with someone can make me feel better. It's just me. Sorry if that is too weird for anyone. 'Those who have many friends, don't actually have many friends.' I want to try to be a friend to those around me, lending a ear to those who need, console those who are sad, cheer up those who are down, care for those who are neglected. Yet I really don't ask for much. I just need anyone at all, willing to lend me a helping hand in this time of turbulence. If this is forceful I'm sorry. I'm just another weak person.
Allah is there yes. But the route to jannah is not only hablumminallah... It also includes hablumminannas (Relations with mankind) May we all be given the capacity to be kind to our fellow friends while mantaining a close relation to Allah. Amin ya rabbal alamin.
Wasollallahu ala sayyidina muhammadin wa ala alihi wa sahbisihi wa sallam. Walhamdulillahi rabbil alamin!

Life Challenges
Bismillahirrahmanirrahim! Alhamdulillahi rabbil alamin! Wa bihi nasta'in ala umuriddunya waddin wa Sallallahu wa sallam ala nabiyyunal mustafa Muhammad SAW wa ba'ad! :)In the name of Allah, most gracious most merciful! Blessings and salutations be upon Nabi Muhammad SAW!
Life has been tough, life has been easy. Sometimes a little too nasty sometimes a little too cheesy. Allah knows best on why He has chosen to give us some problems that seem to be more challenging than what others face! As a 17 year old, maybe I would not know what true life challenges are, but I too have my own stories of pain and suffering.
Sometimes you feel down, and useless and don't know what to do. I don't blame you. We all have had our share of gloomy moments. But don't keep lingering there. If we choose not to do anything, we will remain there. We have to continue moving forward, pick ourselves up, dust ourselves and continue walking onward.
If we think that Allah is testing us with so much challenges, problems etc and you feel like giving up, remember the ending of Surah Al-Baqarah?
La yukallifullahu nafsan illa wus'aha! Allah does not burden His servants to more than what he can bear!If we feel down and impatient, as though we wanna just curl up and waste our lives away, remember the last verse of Surah Ali-Imran?
Ya ayyuhalladzina amanuSbiru, wa Sabiru, wa rabiTu, wattaqullaha la'allakum tuflihun! O you who have believed, persevere and endure and remain stationed and fear Allah that you may be successful. If we feel sad and think that no one is there for us, like we are alone facing the world, remember the all famous verse from Surah At-Taubah verse 40?
La tahzan! Innallaha ma'ana! Don't be sad, Allah is with us!When we feel as though endless problems are coming in and we feel hopeless in the eyes of all the problems we are facing, do we remember a verse from Surah Yusuf, verse 86?
Wa la yay'asu min ruhillah! Innahu la yay'asu min ruhillahi illal qaumul kafirin! And do not lose hope in the mercy of Allah; indeed none lose hope in the mercy of Allah except the most ungrateful people! These are just few of the many verses of the Quran we can refer to when we are having problems! Always remember Allah is there for us, Allah is near us just as stated in this verse 186 from Surah Al-Baqarah:
Wa idza sa'alaka ibadi anni fa inni qarib! Ujibu da'wata dai idza daan! And when my servants ask regarding me, I am indeed close! I listen to the prayer of every suppliant when he calls on Me!Subhanallah! :') Never give up :) Allah is with us! If you have family and friends, talk to them about it! InsyaAllah they will help! May Allah guide us to the true straight path! May Allah grant us happiness in dunya walakhirah!
Wassalamualaikumwarahmatullahiwabarakatuh!

First Post to Kickstart my return to blogging!
Bismillahirrahmanirrahim! Alhamdulillahi rabbil alamin! Wa Sallallahu wasallama wa ala alihi wa sahbihi ajma'in! Amma ba'duh!Never ending thanks to Allah Azza Wajalla for guiding me thus far. Whether in religion, in studies, or in any aspect of life. Salutations and blessing upon the Prophet Muhammad PBUH, his family, and his companions!
Life is full of everything! Be it disappointment, happiness, love, sadness, care, anger and all the other emotions in which I had no time to pen down. And in our everyday mundane life, we will always feel all these emotions one way or another. Some days may bring more happiness than sadness while other days bring more sadness than happiness. I would like to apologize if my post today may seem long-winded, and perhaps jumping a lot from point to point as I really do have a lot of things in my mind I would want to let out.
First things first, results. May not have brought me the happiness I wanted, in fact it rather brought anger, frustration, sadness among others to not only myself, but to my parents whom I truly love and care for. I might be sad at the things they say but I must learn that all they do is for my good and that they will always pray for the best for us! I'm just hoping with the increased effort I am putting in and with the tutors' help, my parents' doa and Allah's permission, I would be able to succeed in Prelims insyaAllah!
Next up, friendships and everything related to it. These days, I have been down inevitably, with my nose continually bleeding, my cough not disappearing, my fever coming and going, only Allah knows the sickness He has put me through! And my friends have been my wonderful people in comforting me :)
(Haiiii there are a lot of things that I would like to say some more actually... But yeah I'm scared it will get negative reactions from the people that mean a lot to me! So I guess it will be the end for tonight's post, hope I will be given enough courage to post more tomorrow night!)
Anws, qiyam tonight insyaAllah! Don't forget to wake up everybody! May Allah make it easy for us to wake up! :)
